A new book, "Mikhail Bulgakov. Kiev echo"
You can buy it in the museum. Presentation of the book was held at 15th of May 2011 in Bulgakov's birthday. The book compiled by - Anatoly Konchakovsky, the first director of the museum and Svetlana Nozhenko, Senior Research Fellow.

Accordionist Roman Yusipey was born in Kherson. In 2006 he’s graduated from National Music Academy of Ukraine under the name of Piotr Tchaikovsky where he studied with Prof. Mykola Davydov. In 2009-2012 he took a postgraduate course in University of Music and Drama in Hannover with Prof. Elsbeth Moser. In 2013-2016 - in Folkwang Univerity in Essen with Prof. Mie Miki. Roman got scholarships from the Yehudi Menuhin Foundations and the Lions Club International. He participated in IX Premio di Montese International Competition in Italy (1st prize) and in the I Golden Accordion International Competition in New York (2nd place). Has toured in Germany, United Kingdom, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, Poland, Japan, Kazakhstan and Malta. Has been a guest lecturer at the Krakow and Lviv musical academies and visiting professor at the Kazakh Kurmangazy National Conservatory. He’s been a jury member at the International accordion competition in Lanciano, Italy. As a soloist Roman has performed about hundred concerts with such conductors as Roman Kofman, Volodymyr Sirenko, Bohodar Kotorovych, Raymond Janssen, Volodymyr Syvohip, Stanisław Welanyk, Valery Matyukhin, Volodymyr Runchak and others. He collaborates vigorously with contemporary composers and has premiered numerous works for button accordion. He was the initiator of first Sofia Gubaidulina visit to Ukraine in 2012. Roman has also fulfilled a bunch of art projects within the ranks of some international contemporary music festivals. Author of an audio anthology “Ukrainian music of the 21th century for button accordion”.
